A Year-Long Reading Theme

Buckle your seat belts, we're off on a trip across the United States of America, reading our way from coast to coast!

This year in Library, students in the Lower School will learn about the wonderful country in which we live and will read books from the seven different regions. Beginning in October, we'll set off to explore the Northeast, focusing on New England, and then in November, it will be on to the Mid Atlantic States. We'll end the calendar year exploring the Southeast. After Winter break, we'll finish out the year by exploring the Southwest, Pacific, Mountain and Mid-West regions.

We'll make our way around the country, learning lots of fun facts and reading some great books along the way.

Below, you'll find links to sources that will help you on our trip. This list will grow as we visit more regions.
